Sean Tiedeman is an award-winning filmmaker who revels in popular culture. He wears many hats. Literally. It's rare to see him not wearing one! Sean has served as director, producer, editor, cameraman, and writer on a wide variety of film, video, TV, and media spanning over 25 years. Sean began making films in elementary school with a home video camera, practicing his videography and editing skills as he realized his passion for film. By high school, he was pursuing work professionally on movie sets in New York City to gain experience in the field. He enrolled at Northampton Community College to gain a formal education in video and TV production. After graduation, he launched his first production company, K Studios, with a business partner and served corporate clients for over 15 years. The Eastern Pennsylvania Business Journal named Tiedeman in the top 20 of the region's business leaders under the age of 40.Sean directed his first horror-comedy Hell's Half Acre in 2006. The film launched to rave reviews, including coverage in Fangoria magazine and has quickly developed a large cult following. Synergy magazine in Australia praised "Hell’s Half Acre ends up packing quite a punch in both the horror and dark humor departments and stands out from many other indie productions." And in 2015 HorrorNews.net stated “Hell's Half Acre delivers over and over again. This is one of those hidden gems that I love finding in this job...”After directing and editing The Stage for nearly ten years, an award-winning music television program featuring celebrity guests including "Weird Al" Yankovic, Breaking Benjamin, Hall & Oates, The Bacon Bros., and Counting Crows, Sean found his ❤️️ in documentaries. He filmed interviews for Bravo's The 100 Scariest Movie Moments including Stephen King and began creating behind the scenes documentaries for films like Bereavement starring Alexandra Daddario and Eavesdrop starring Chris Parnell.Sean successfully raised $47,684 on Kickstarter for his first full-length feature documentary The King of Arcades. Co-produced by Adam F. Goldberg, creator of The Goldbergs on ABC, the nostalgic film has met with great success. The King of Arcades premiered to a sold out crowd at The Sands Casino Resort (Frank Banko Alehouse) in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and appeared on several critics' top five lists of the best video game documentaries. The film is currently streaming on Tubi, Apple TV, GOG, Amazon Prime Video and the DVD is available to purchase on Amazon.Tiedeman met his wife and co-producer, Krystle-Dawn, on the set of Brutal Massacre: A Comedy. They were happily married in a movie theater. In his spare time, Tiedeman enjoys playing with his son Liam, coaching the Yankees for Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley, and performing novelty songs. His song,'80s Arcade, has aired on several syndicated radio shows including The Dr. Demento Show and became the #3 most requested new song of 2005 on Captain Wayne's Mad Music.com, the world's largest comedy music website.Sean continues to live his dream: offering his experience and support to other filmmakers and working full-time on all aspects of production, independent films, TV, and documentaries. He recently edited the official trailer for Gary Gerani's wonderful award-winning documentary Romantic Mysticism: The Music of Billy Goldenberg, served as Executive Producer on RoboDoc: The Creation of RoboCop (Screambox, Cineverse, 2023), and was the Associate Producer of Brinke Stevens' directorial debut, Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama 2 (2022) from Full Moon Features. Sean is currently editing John Campopiano's new documentary, Sasqua: The Lost Bigfoot Film of Massachusetts (2025).
